I am so sorry to hear that your Mum's next appointment has had to be re-scheduled. I believe that her care team are fully aware of the impact there is when we are waiting a few extra days for a consultation.

Unfortunately, we've always got to be aware that all of the cancer services are stretched to capacity and they sometimes have to take in emergency cases, who need urgent attention. I'm sure that if your Mum was at this stage too, you would have no objection in having her pushed to the top of the list?

Fortunately, it's not that long until 12th. Please keep in touch and let us know the results and treatment plan. Remember, there is always someone here for you whenever you feel like talking.
