Breast lump

Hello everyone..Well the day arrived for my biopsy results came i walked in to see a dr and 2 nurses i knew with the look on their faces the answer before i even sat down.The lump is Cancer i go for a MRI scan on Wednesday to see if its spread and then on the Friday i see them for the results of that and the Surgeons..

    Well it's Friday today and just have fingers and toes crossed for you .. it's a really  scary time and I think not knowing is worse ... so sending you a big hug at this time ... whichever way it goes were all here for you ... xx

    Hi Sandra

    So sorry your results meeting was not as favourable as we all hoped for you. 

    I had my MRI scan on Wednesday and get my results of that on Monday coming (we sadly seem to be travelling  a similar road).

    My MRI was with contrast so they inserted a cannular into my arm when I was on the scanner they attached the contrast to the cannula. They played music through the earphones to help mask the loud clanking of the scanner. They kept asking if I was ok through the earphones and told me through the earphones when they were remotely injecting the contrast. All in all it lasted around 20 mins. Although bit noisy the whole process was ok.

    I know it can all feel very overwhelming - try to keep busy (less time to think) yes I know easier said than done.
