Hi Shelley,
Welcome to the forum.
That must be difficult - when I was first diagnosed I wanted "something" doing now. Patience was never one of my virtues :-)
Since completing chemo in early 2014, I've also been on a "watchful waiting" regime. My cancer was shrunk by the chemo and unexpectedly went dormant - a very appropriate description as I feel like I'm living on top of a volcano which could erupt at any time.
I keep telling people that I'm living with cancer, as technically I can never be a cancer survivor as it is incurable and inoperable, but neither do I feel like I'm dying of cancer.
So I guess I'm feeling hopeful and worried in equal measure!
Cheers
Dave
Thank you for your inspiration. I have a neck under armpit & now a groin tumours. The fist two are small and gone to sleep, the groin is large and very painful. I am in a grey area and was given a choice to start treatment but have chosen to stay on watch & wait. This all started Easter 2017. Still trying to come to terms with this.
Thank you for giving me hope.
Shelley x
