I'm sorry to hear your dad has just been diagnosed with sarcomatoid mesothelioma and surgery isn't an option. Have your dad's medical team explained why they can't operate or suggested chemotherapy as a treatment option? If you're unsure do try and have a chat with them to find out more. 

I know there are a few members who have had experience with this diagnosis and hopefully some of them will pop by soon to share their advice and experiences with you.
