Hi Scotlas,
Waiting for results can be a scary and anxious time as you are finding out but I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. Many members here have also gone through this process so will really understand how you are feeling at the moment and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice with you.
Do come back and let us know the results when you get them Scotlas. We'll have our fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
All the best,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
Hi Scotlas, I can totally empathise with you, every diagnostic result seems to have a 2 week window and during that time you can feel your life ticking away. In many ways the diagnosis just confirms what your body is already coping with.
good luck and stay strong
Waiting between tests has been the worst thing, and telling people I'm doing ok but inside the tears are always there ready to flow at the silliest of things. But I'll get through it
Hello I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer 8 weeks ago I’m 47, I’ve had surgery and both have been removed! But yesterday I went to oncologist and he has said I need the test so 3 weeks of waiting !! I want the correct treatment but the wait is killing me
The waiting is definitely the worst part.my test came back as high so had to have chemo and radiotherapy. It was a hard slog but I am now 17months post chemo.i hope you find out soon xx
