This is my first post. Told last week dad only has months to live and he won't be here for my November wedding. We have moved the wedding to 11th August just 13 of us in a registry office and the November wedding will now be a blessing. My concern is I've no idea how rapid this is. He is 87 and already lost nearly 3 stone. He comes downstairs each day but can only sit in his chair. He sleeps a lot and is hardly eating as it's hard to swallow. I'm now worried he might not even make the wedding in 11 days. How do you know when he is nearing the end? Can he go on like this for months or just weeks? Many thanks
