I had a breast screening recall after having my first mammogram. I attended the clinic on Monday 3rd July. I was a bit as they seen what they called a 'blob' which didnt look concerning but they continued with a further mammogram, then ultrasound where they took biopsy's and placed markers, thankfully it seems very small. I felt ok until they mentioned I would return in a week to see a pathologist and surgeon to discuss my treatment which I assume is a common procedure. I just have to wait and see. The only thing getting me through this, is that if it is very small and not affecting lymph nodes etc that it will be easier to treat should it be the worse news.
