Welcome to the forum Mark although I'm sorry to hear about your mum's diagnosis and the reason you find yourself posting.

I just wanted to let you know we have some information on our website about dying with cancer which may be helpful to you at this time as there is a section which explains what to expect in the last few weeks and days of a person's life. Some have found this to be quite a tough read so do only look through it properly if you feel you are ready to do so. Our cancer nurses may be able to help as well so do give them a call if you want to discuss this with them.
