O glad you got your pain sorted, take it they are treating the infection now? 

I;ve had a right rollercoaster day, had my appointment with consultant this morning to discuss surgery, had decided on mastectomy with reconstruction immediately using the inplant so I was asked to return to the hospital later today to see the plastic surgeon with a potential view to surgery on Thursday.  He examined my lump and decided I should have chemo first given its size and reduce the need for such major surgery. I can understand his theory behind his decision, he wants to help save my breast as best he can so chemo will be best option is to try shrinking it first. So I;ve gone from potentially having surgery on Thursday to now waiting to see oncologist to discuss starting chemo every 3 weeks for next 6 months. 

I'm quite positively worn out by today's events so off get some sleep! Onwards and Upwards they say!
