Hopefully we will both be successfully through the other side sooner rather than later although it will be a long journey.

Knowing we are not alone and other people are going through the same is a help in itself. My friends and family have been a great suoport but not having been through the chemo they can't really help me with this part. Knowing others on here are ready to help/support is great.

I have been on this journey for six yearsso far. My family are very supportive and my husband is a jem. We discuss all aspects of my disease. However, it is sometimes easier to talk to strangers who have expeienced what we are going through first hand than it is to worry loved ones, who, no matter how supportive they are, don't really understand everything that is going on.

I am still hoping that someone undergoing the same treatment as you comes along to offer support and to tell you about their experience of Taxol/Carbo chemo. In the meantime why not use the search engine on this site to look up some previous contributors to this site who have gone through this?
