Received results from mastectomy today I was given POSNOC and DVD to make a decision about the lymph glands in my armpit as they found 2 small specks in there.i have made my decision and I will be  going under  2nd op to remove lymph glands.Doesn't matter how you prepare yourself its always a shock to the system, I put on my brave face asked questions.

My consultant also told us that the tumour removed was  about 3.5cm,2cmx2 big and the previous shadows were cancer too.Just feel rubbish today as we never thought of the outcome of today results!I have been told that I might develop problems after the surgery in the arm or hand called  lymphoedema ,stiffnes,swelling(1of 5 women have )

is there anyone that had all glands removed,how did it affected you,any comment would be helpful.
