My husband was diagnosed in September last. Kidney removed using robot end of October and he has just finished 8 sessions of chemo as a bolt and braces measure. He is scheduled for a scan next week so we are crossing our fingers that there are no further changes. He has coped amazingly with everything and he is very positive. The first for to six weeks after surgery were hard but every day he got stronger and has been walking our dog for at least an hour every day since early December. Apart from getting a bit puffed out going up hill you would not know all he has been through so hope this helps.
