gct ovarian cancer

hi all. in sept 2016 i started with a post-menopausal bleed and pain in my right side. I had a scan within 2 weeks of seeing the doctor and they found a 3cm cyst on my right ovary. I had a biopsy of the lining of my uterus as it was 10.5 ml thick and polyps removed and was told all was benign and would re scan me in 3 months. I was happy until the bleed continues and pain on my right side got worse, I suffered with this till follow up scan on December 23rd 2016. I went away for a week and the bleed stopped I was bloated, constipated and very uncomfortable. I needed to be close to the loo as I was weeing regularly but not much each time. I also could not eat or drink much by this time. I had a call a few days after my holiday to go for an emergency CT scan on January 2017 they said the cyst had grown to 18cm by 12cm. I had a flat tummy in December and within 6 weeks I looked. 6 months pregnant. my surgery was planned by gyny oncology team to be done on the 14th of feb 2017 I had a staging laparotomy TAH and BSO and removal of the omentum and the cyst on my right ovary removed which was the size of a rugby ball by this time. 3 weeks later I was diagnosed with granulosa cell tumour and it was removed stage 1c 2 The gyny oncol assured me i need no chemo as this is now not proven to help with this type of tumour. that to me does not help me understand what will now happen to me. i have been advised i will need bloods called inhibin done every 3 to 6 months to check all is well for the next 10 to 15 years. although told to not worry and go and live my life, i cant stop looking for more answers what if it returns? what am i looking for? how will I know if it returns? am I living with cancer? or am i free? I don't know how I should feel, would really love to hear others stories or ant advice or information would be great please...
