You are certainly not in anyone's way. We all struggle with this horrible disease at times and we are all here to try and support one another.
I can understand your reluctance to tell your story on a forum such as this. I don't know whether or not you are aware that you can private message people on this site?
You might find it easier to look at the various posts until you find someone you feel that you might be able to trust and open up a little to. I do hope that you do as a diagnosis of cancer hits us all like a steam train. We then have to go through the awful period of waiting for test results - For me this was the worst part as a week can feel like a lifetime when you just want to know the outcome.
Once you start to write down your concerns, you will find that it eases the tension you are feeling somewhat. Remember that we are all in the same boat on this site and chances are that most of us have felt as low as you are now at some stage in our journey.
You can also talk to the nurses on this site free of charge and all of your conversation is confidential. There are also local counselling services which your cancer team can refer you to and again all conversation is between you and your counsellor.
I sincerely hope that you find someone that you can talk to and that you feel better for doing so.
