I just want to give you a warm welcome to our forum and say I'm sorry to hear you were diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) last June.

When reading your post I thought of another member, [@Luckyme]‍  who was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei and hopefully you two will have a chance to chat.

Hi there.

My dad was diagnosed with PMP last year. Went through a massive 13hr ok and it has come back again this year so he has to go back.

I came on here to talk to other who know people going through it or people who have it.

Wondering how it is going for you? My dad was diagnosed with it just 6 months ago, but sadly didn’t make it. He passed away last week. I know it’s an extremely rare form of cancer, but I thought it is quite an aggressive type too. So I would love to hear of your experience and how your dads operation worked out. I could only imagine what your family must be going through. I hope his treatment is going well.

How old was your dad if you don't mind me asking.?

My dad has had two operations now.  And now he is on regular chemo every 2 weeks. Wont know if it is working until his CT scan. I'm hoping to god it does. I really couldn't bare losing him.

My dad was 53. I think the annoying thing about the chemo is the waiting period to know whether it is working or not. But hoping for the best with your CT scan results! 

Yes my dad had an operation in february as he has obstructions in his stomach area. So he had an operation to remove the waste that had built up and to put on a stoma bag.
