I found out before Christmas that my dad has cancer and I gave already lost my mum nearly 20 years ago to cancer and I don't know how to deal with it all
I am so sorry to hear that cancer has affected both your mum and your dad. It's so sad that you lost your mum 20 years ago to cancer and you are having to deal with this again.
What cancer has your dad been diagnosed with if you don't mind me asking? It must have been so hard finding this out just before Christmas.
You have done the right thing though to join this forum where you will meet others who have also lost a parent to cancer or who are also looking after a loved one who has been recently diagnosed. I hope you can support one another during these difficult times and that you can share coping strategies.
