Today I just come back from my first ultrasound .been told I have good news my tumor from 2.6 shrink near to nothing .have my appointment with oncologist on next week.hope he will give me good news to
Ah that's great news, I'm so happy to hear that :) I had my ultrasound but messed up my appointment with oncologist as it was at a different hospital doh! so i'm waiting for another appointment letter to come through.
I had chemo on Friday, Taxol / Carbo and managed ok. Was quite surprised my bloods came back fine on Wednesday for chemo as i'm on anti biotics fighting a chest infection but all was ok. Today is the last day of being on these tablets. I feel better, just a little tired and zombie like today, which is fromthe carbo. I was faffing in the kitchen quite a bit yesterday so standing around on my feet has made me want to sit down all of today!
Sorry to hear you have been in hospital with neutrapenic, hopefully the last for you! I have 5 treatments left, cant wait. I also want to plan a few days away, i need it with all these hospital visits!
That's good you have your results now and know what yo expect. Funny that as I got my results last week and the official letter in the post today. I am negative so opp will go ahead as planned although not 100% sure but think mascetomy as my lumps are quite large. I have to wait to see my oncologist to find out more.
Yeah 8 had EC chemo. Did struggle with feeling like a zombie for a good few days. I struggled a bit with the pain from the injections but took pain killers and antihistamine for that.
Have my first ystarday but have another 3 .at the moment feel ok give my self rest .start my infections from tomorrow .have 2 month on chemo looking forward to finish but I'm glad it's not weekly any more ,so I can have time for recovery.did you get you consultation regarding your surgery?How r you fill after your treatment ?
How you feeling after treatment last week? I found the EC did knock me out for a week or so then i started to feel normalish. It is good to have more time for recovery on the 3 week schedule. Now i'm coming to the end of the weekly treatments i am finding it hard with fatigue and feeling a bit down, I had double dose last Friday, which makes me feel quite yuck. I'm doing better today and ready for my last Taxol this Friday :)
I then see the consultant on the 10th March and will find out about my opp etc. I dont have any details yet so little anxiious but not too long to wait.
I've been walking quite a bit the past few days which has helped. I'm aiming to do the 10 000 steps a day challenge. Hmm dont think i'll get there everday but hey we can try.
It's 7 days since I have my first EC .day 3 and 4 it's the worst one take lots untisickness medicine.but since Sunday feel ok .today it's my first day when I return to work ,for moment i will work 2 weeks and 1 week off for chemo ,hope I will be ok.
Today I have consultation with my surgery doctor ,he was happy with my respond to chemo after 3 chemo it's shrink by 75% .have appointments for limph nudes biopsy on begining of may a and they will see if I need radiotherapy or not .my EC finish end of April than I will have 4-6 weeks recovery from chemo and then surgery , have double mastectomy and reconstruction in same time ,he recommended me to do from my own tummy tissues instead implants ,he say I can have implants if I want but it's will be 2 surgery, so today it's very busy day for me, lots of plans hope everything going well.
Hope you ok with your treatments too ,we need to be strong and get our life back to normal
Hope you ok.long time no talk .I'm already finish my chemotherapy.have date for my operation 5 of may ,have different filing bit sceart and also bit exiting.one more step to be back to normal life.any news from your side?
