Hi I'm new here,my husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and even though the consultant has given positive news about treatment etc I can't help feeling so awful,my stomach is in knots and I am on edge all the time I feel as if I'm losing my mind,I'm so scared and feel so lonely x

    Welcome to this friendly forum. Yes it is a scary time and often people feel so alone.

    As some who has lost ten relative to cancer over the years and who was also diagnosed with prostate cancer,I di know how your feeling. It is from my experiance often harder for the family of the cancer patient than it is for the patient themselves. For when you are the patient, you do feel you have some contro, l at least I did,.

    It was over six years ago when I was diagnosed and I have made a very good recovery. So I hope you can take heart from my story. Cancer can be beaten

    Hi Linda my husband too was diagnosed recently and I am very confused. They say it's not that serious yet they have offered all the treatments. We have seen a radiologist and have an appointment to see a surgeon next week
