Hello I am a new member

Hello I have only just been diagnosed with stage 2 Lobular invasive cancer. I am at the very start of my journey. Awaiting MRI scan to confirm size of tumour as may then go to stage 3.

I am 53 and Mum of 2 and was spotted from my second mammogram.

Does anyone on here have the same lobular cancer and offer any help advice for me please

many thanks

  • Hello

I was diagnosed with invasive Breast cancer december 2015.I had my treatments last year which included mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.I am now on Tamoxifen for 10 years.

Im very sorry to hear of your diagnosis and i remember being at the stage you are very well.

Its always hard waiting for test results hours seem like days.I know we tend to let our thoughts drift and imagine all sorts.

Try and keep busy for now doing things you enjoy,be kind to yourself and keep yourself in the company of people who care about you.

I know it feels so daunting right now all that lies ahead.

we are all here for you to talk and offer support.

Once you have that treatment plan in place you will have more of a focus and that really helps. Then you can take it step by step in small chunks and you will get through it.

Im here to listen whenever you need

thinking of you & take care

  • Hello, I was diagnosed with the same lobular breast cancer in July 2015. I have now undergone a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Two of my areas were grade two, and one a grade three.

I can answer any questions you have from a personal experience.

sending you my best wishes for your results x
