l was diagnosed with cancer of the colon 6 weeks ago but there was a shadow on the scan which picked up a Gist( another tumour) had a biopsy yesterday but have to wait maybe two weeks for the results. Feeling lost.
2 weeks is indeed a long time to wait and I hope you get your biopsy results very soon. It is normal to feel lost and anxious while waiting for results and many on our forum will relate to how you are feeling as they have had to experience a similar wait before. Do come back here and let us know how you get on and what the results show when you find out more.
We have some information on our website about GIST which you can access here. Try not to google too much though before you get your results as often it only makes us feel even more worried. I hope you manage to keep distracted and busy this weekend as I know it is difficult to think about other things when we are waiting for results.
