hi mary i am in same boat i  got diagnosed yesterday with ovarian and cervical cancer it is a worry when you dont know  how to handle things or what to do i just want to hide my self away  but yes it feels so great to write it down 

Mary once you have a plan in place things will become clearer. Life will never be the same but it's not always as negative as you first think. Good luck with your treatment.

I got diagnosed with breast cancer on Dec 30th 2016 so I have been through the shock and feelings of what the!  I have family history of breast cancer so have been having mammos since last 10 years and the thought never entered my brain that i would ever get it.  But the words "cancer" and "stage 2" kept going around in my head for days - but you do come to terms with it and think it is what it is and just have to get through it.  I meditate and it has helped greatly.  Talk it out with those who are close to your heart as it really helps.  You can do this!  Cry if you need to and rage if you need to - just be strong.  I won't lie - it is hard but you do somehow come back stronger.
