I'm sorry to hear your mum has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer but it's great that chemotherapy is available and I hope the treatment is going well for her so far. I know survivial rates can sometimes be bleak like you say but try to remember they are a general guideline and that everyone is different. I know you've seeked out information already but if you would like to know more about liver cancer in general we have a section dedicated to it on our website here.
