Hi Jenii, 

I'm sorry to hear that you recieved that distressing news. I don't have personal experience with having cancer, but I do have family friends and one of my friend's nieces has breast cancer at the moment. Family friend had breast cancer at Stage 3 and she is now 7 years cancer free, I also have another friend who is free of her cancer as well. My friend's niece is about to start radiation, but the doctors have told her that she should be fine in the end of this treatment. I just wanted to share those stories to give you a little bit of hope. 

I know that words probably don't really help at this time, but if you need someone to talk to, this place is a really great spot to hear other people's stories! I hope that the MRI results come back fine! Do you have friends and family you can talk to that can help support you through this?

Hi.. thanks for the reply and the positive stories. They really do help. I have had my MRI but no results yet so still in limbo. I have a fabulous parter, mum and daughter to support me but feel they are struggling more so I am careful what I say. I am staying upbeat at the moment and I am lucky as I feel really well and carrying on with work and dog walks etc. I'm guessing reality will hit when I have the surgery but being positive seems the best way forward anyway! I truly hope that the results from the biopsy come back and you are told that the cancer you have is curable and this will only be a bump in the road of your life. I can relate to the fear that you must be feeling right now (my dad has advanced prostate cancer) and the waiting is always the hardest part. Please do keep us updated with your results and if you ever need to talk, coming on here can be very beneficial, as there are a lot of helpful and supportive people, and if there's people in a similar situation, it can be helpful talking to them as well. I find that carrying on with the normal things can be most helpful because sticking to some kind of routine can keep our minds busy! Again, please keep us updated, and I just want to send my positive vibes your way, as I know there's nothing i can really say right now to make you feel better. Thank you for being so open!
