Hi, I was in the same position in August. Complete shock.
tripple negative stage three. Once you know what the plan is for your treatment, I'm sure you will be ok.
Yes I was scared stiff, but it is do-able. I still have worries about going forward after treatment, but I am half way through now and most of the time I am really positive.
still have a wobble now and again, but I think that's normal.
There is lots of support on this site and it helps a lot, especially when you are feeling out of your depth.
I wish you well x
Hi
hope it's ok to join this thread, I'm 48 and have been diagnosed with breast cancer after I went to the doctor embarrassed by what I though was an underarm cyst. I'm in total shock and am due to be told the type and grade on Friday. I'm so scared I can barely function I have a whole variety of aches, tingling, dry mouth..... None of this before so it's probably all fear but seem to have convinced myself I'm going to get the worst prognosis. I have to have a full body scan tomorrow which I presume is to look if it's anywhere else? Did anyone else have this? I have never been this frightened in my life. Any information would be really appreciated.
