Welcome to Cancer Chat. I am sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with tongue cancer and I hope that the treatment works well for you. You have joined the right forum to talk about tongue cancer as we have quite a few members who have been affected by it and they have discussed their diagnosis and treatment in great depth in the past. Perhaps you could also slightly edit the title of your thread to something like 'Cisplatin and 5FU for tongue cancer'? This will allow our members who have been affected by tongue cancer to spot your post immediately.

One of our members [@Nicola2209]‍ who had tongue cancer in the past has mentioned being on Cisplatin and she may be able to advise you further and share her experience with you. She shared her story on this thread a few years ago and it became a very popular thread so don't hesitate to respond or connect with anyone you would like to hear more from.

Sorry I've not come across your post before and I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis. How is the treatment going? As the moderator mentioned, I was on cisplatin and apart from the usual Chemo side effects I found it to be ok. 

I hope you're able to keep your spirits up and are managing ok.
