I think that the third letter is m not n and it relates to whether the cancer has spread. The lower the score on all three elements, the better. My man has T3N2M0 oesophageal cancer and had surgery in September so I understand how scary the whole thing is. If you have got to the diagnosis stage, your man has had quite a few tests so I am guessing your appointment next week will be to discuss options for treatment. For us, things moved very quickly from diagnosis straight into chemotherapy, through surgery and back onto chemotherapy. It is hard to get your head or your emotions round it. Wishing you both all the best.
