Mum diagnosed with ovarian cancer

Hi

My mum has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get through it and stay strong and positive in a situation like this.

  • Hi, I'm so sorry to read about your mum.

I'm 27 and going through the same thing, I'm not at stage 4, it hasn't spread to my lungs or chest but unsure what stage I am. I've had all ct scans and xrays and tests. I have one more fluid test tomos, after the results will hopefully get the ball rolling on treatment and surgery.

I'm not very good at staying strong but I wouldn't be able to do this without my family and friends.. so they are really helping me. I've heard the best way to fight it is to stay strong and positive! also don't Google!!! I've found this forum very helpful

Hope your mum and yourself the very best

    Faye xx
