Squamous cell carcinoma of the ear.

hi please can anyone contact me if they have had or know someone who has had this form of cancer? It is extremely rare but my mum has it and I want to prepare myself with as much information as possible so I know what we are dealing with. I have read some information already but would be nice to talk to someone who has experienced it.

    It is a rare cancer, and you probably will not find too much information. However there is a lot of information available on Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and from my limited knowledge the rules are broadly the same.

    I am sure people more knowledgeable than me will chime in, but keep your spirits up. Medicine has made huge advances, try not to worry. There is a wealth of support here and all of us are unfortunately in the same boat.

    Thank you. I'm just trying to prepare myself as I know she will have to go to Bristol for any treatment. My mum lives in Cornwall and I'm in London. I'm concerned that I will need to take a lot of time off from work but I can't afford to do it so just trying to mentally prepare myself really as I'm probably the strongest between me my dad and my brother at dealing with these kinds of things so I know I will need to be there for them all.
