Kidney and lung cancer

Hi Iam just looking for some advice. My sister who is 42   Just got told today that she had lung and kidney cancer to say that we are devastated is a understatement. She goes in tomorrow for a biopsy to see what stage and what treatment. We are all trying to stay positive but it's hard. When you hear the word cancer you think your going to die. All Iam looking for is some positive feedback and some advice.

    I see you mentioned that your sister went for a biopsy yesterday, how did it go? Do you know what stage the cancer is at and what treatment is available? I hope she received good news.

    Many of our members will identify with what you have said, especially those who have been in a similar situation with their partners or loved ones, and I'm sure they will post soon to offer their support and advice.
