Hello, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer in April. Mine is inoperable but early stage and I have had 10 cycles of chemotherapy which has been well tolerated. It's possible to adjust to having cancer and live with the disease. Eating can be a problem, but I am eating a normal-ish diet although blockage in my gut meant I had a stent inserted. Wishing you all the best. Stay positive and know that you can fight this and live with it, probably for many years.
Hi. My dad was diagnosed with T4 stomach cancer last Wednesday. 'It' the cancer-though I may be fruitier names- has metastasied to my dad's liver and 'countless' lymph nodes. Dad does not want any intervention, i.e, chemo. What would you advise-he is 77. Much love, Sue.
Why doesn't he want chemo?? We start chemo tomorrow for stage 4 stomach cancer
