Hi Julie,
Welcome to Cancer Chat. First of all, I am sorry to hear your mum has been having to go through 6 weeks of intensive treatment. What a shock it must have been for you to find out that you had it too at the same time as being there to support your mum. Tell us a bit more if you don't mind about how you found out about your diagnosis. I hope you are feeling ok at the moment and that this forum will put you in touch with others who have also been recently diagnosed as it does help to talk to others who really understand what you are feeling at the moment.
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
Sorry about your mum - and sorry about your diagnosis. I'm 34, recently diagnosed (melanoma, not breast cancer) and I totally get what you mean about the shock. I hope it passess soon and that you find people to talk through things with, I found it helped me personally.
Best of luck with any treatment xx
