As Davek mentioned it does seem a long time to wait to be seen, so it would be a good idea to contact your doctor or nurse to see if they can look into this for you.

Many people begin to worry that if they are diagnosed with cancer that it will spread while they wait to start treatment . Most cancers will not grow that fast that a few weeks delay will be a problem. Most cancers develop over many years and don't show up on a scan until they have been growing for some time. But I appreciate waiting any time when you are worried is stressful.
