Don't panic.  I had breast cancer in 2006 and I am still here and clear, touch wood.  I had lumpectomy, radiation, chemotherapy and Tamoxifen for five years. Wishing you all the best.

I am five years post treatment, chemo, radiotherapy, matectomy and more recently reconstruction. Tamoxifen for ten years (new research shows benefits for ten years). I had a tumour and inflamatory breast cancer which is rare, but with a lot of looking after by the doctors and determination on my part i am still here. The treatments we receive are top class and you just need to have a little faith in the doctors to get you through it. This and support from family and friends, but remember this is about you and not about them. All the best
