Im vanessa, 37 years old (still think of myself as young) and I've just finished treatment for breast cancer.Now in the recovery period,still tired but getting there.Hairs made an appearance and I'm no longer wearing the scarfs..feeling brave!!?
Hey Vanessa :) that's good to hear.. Embrace it.. Beauty is within :) and I'm good just waiting to start treatment myself for Hodgkin's lymphoma.. Was a huge shock still trying to come to terms with it.. How long has it been for you.. How are you doing with everything xo

Sorry to ask but I don't know alot about what you have been diagnosed with.
I can certainly understand the shock! It's so hard to take in isn't it.I still can't quite believe that it happened to me, this year has gone very quickly.
I'm doing well thankyou I'm trying to get myself back on track.I was diagnosed just before Christmas last year had a mastectomy Jan 6th started chemo in Feb and had my last chemo treatmwnt 31st of may.I then had 3 weeks and started my radiotherapy alongside my hormone treatment.All finished on the 12th of July.I will have my hormone therapy for 10 years so no more children for me I'm afraid...not such a bad thing as I've 3 anyway lol.
Not planning on going back to work now,I was but I've changed my mind.Want to get fit have seem holidays and enjoy the kids.
