What happens now?

My dad was diagnosed on Monday with terminal liver cancer. We've been told he hasn't long but that's it. I can't seem to get straight answers from anyone. Can anyone give me an idea how long he might have? He's frail and also has emphysema. Thank you

    I'm sorry to hear about your dad

    In my experience Doctor's don't like giving straight answers when it comes to time because they just don't know.

    My mum was told she had between 6 weeks to 6 months and lived for 2 years, then we were told 48 hours and she lived for a week, then 1 hour and she lived for 36 hours.  

    Just savour every moment with your dad. Make sure he knows how loved he is but don't forget to also talk about stupid, normal, irrelevant stuff and just be yourselves.
