My do my kids have to face this?

So three years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Masecotomy and diap followed, had to fight for the follow up 'tidy' up and finish of the reconstruction, all the time telling the cancer unit I had a strange blister that wasn't healing. Had surgery 3 weeks ago only for them to take a biopsy and tell me blister is a rare type of Breast cancer; 3 years nd here we go again!

  • Hello whyMeAGain,

I am sorry to hear you are having to go through this again and that the blister turned out to be a rare type of breast cancer. I hope you are recovering well from the surgery you had three weeks ago and that you have supportive friends and family around you. I hope you will meet others on this forum who have had a similar experience and that they will be along soon to share their story with you. Many say it helps to talk to someone who has gone through the same and is outside your immediate family circle.

So I will let our ladies who have been diagnosed with breast cancer  come and say hello. Many of them also have children and I am sure they will understand how you are feeling at the moment.

    Best wishes,
