My lovely brother in law has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel cancer. I do not know how to help my sister through this other than to be there when she needs me.
Does anyone have any idea how else I can help her?
All you can do is be there for her. Listen to her when she wants to talk, could be late at night, early morning any time, give her a hug. Offer practical help if you live near.
She will gain comfort knowing youre at the end of a phone.
My brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer, had the op to remove and some radio therapy after. Just had a checkup and received results fron ct scan. not good cancer still present , so waiting to have bone scan in the next week to see where it is.. So I understand how you feel.
Sadly I dont live near but they both know Im at end of phone, and would go to them if Im needed
