Lymphoma advice

My gran has very recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma, we don't know the prognosis as she hasn't had her bioposy yet but id like to help as much as i possibly can. Has anyone had or know anyone who has had Lymphoma and knows of any remedies that have helped?

    Hi Jenna.

    Sorry to hear about your Gran.

    I'm also a little confused as to how she has already been diagnosed with Lymphoma. I have been led to believe the only way to get Lymphoma Diagnosis is after a Biopsy as blood tests can come back Normal and scans can show enlarged Lymph Nodes but this can be due to being Active (fighting infection). Maybe someone caan correct me on this.

    I have a scan later today on Neck Lump. xxx

    Thank you for replying! Well the doctor came back with her brain scan results and said they had found a mass, they never said much as it was my aunts they were speaking to but apparently he had mentioned lymphoma, i checked online and all of her symptoms correspond with CNS lymphoma but we wont know for sure until next week when the results come through. Her CT scan results came through and the rest of her body is clear which is great news. Hopefully your results come back clear, stay positive! Xxx

    All the best to your Gran with the biopsy.

    There are many types of Lymphoma so it looks like the docs have ruled the spead as it's isolated in the brain. This will enable them to choose the right method of treatment. 

    Once they confirm which type of Lymphoma it is you will be able to do more research and help out in any way you can.
