hi I'm 29 years old and was diagnosed with cervix cancer luckily I only had to have surgery as no further treatment was needed. I found out 12 weeks after I had my son as I went for a smear which was down to my mum as she was diagnosed with womb cancer a few weeks before me. We're both fine now after surgery. What I would like to know is has anyone had reaccurance of cervical cancer as my back is really sore lately and I seem to have the same discharge again as I did prior to surgery I'm worried it may have come back. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday about it I've also have a recent check up but all they did was an internal sweep. I was shocked that they didn't do a scan, apart from that I just get on with things I don't really think about the cancer or what I've been through most days I forget but I do have bad days every now and again.
