Extranodal NK/t-cell lymphoma

Hi! My husband has just been diagnosed with this very rare form of lymphoma. Does anyone in here have the same? ( in the hospital where he stays they have told him that their last patient with this type was in 2008! ) information on the web is quite poor. Thanks

  • Hi, I'm sorry for your news but I thought hearing a success story might see that there is definitely hope I was diagnosed in 2006 with NK Tcell lymphoma - extranodal nasal type. I had been ill for a while with various symptoms, including liver infection, facial paralysis and developing a limp (!). Finally got a diagnosis after my stomach swelled and I was having raging temperatures. It was stage 4 and I was informed that the outlook was gloomy. Treatment began immediately - CODOX-M and IVAC. 15 years later, with a different career, a husband and another child, I have been fit as a fiddle ever since! The treatment wasn't terrible and the NHs consultants, doctors and nurses were all amazing. I was treated in the midlands btw. I wish you and your partner all the best xx
