Hi out there ( first time user )

My wife as just been diagnosed secondary lung cance( dagnosed April7th 2016)r she's 70yrs old never smoked an very rarely drinks and she as always kept her self fit. Does anyone know is there anything out there that could help to relieve her cough as it gets that bad it makes her vomit.also any drinks that will not agitate cough but will take away foul taste she gets  in mouth . Will probaly ba asking more questions as time goes any help will be appreciated. Cheers Bri H

    Hi bri, 

    my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in late feb, it's horrible.  

    I can't really be of much help but here are some things I noticed with my dad, for some reason tea really makes my dad cough, he's better with coffee, when taking any tablets take them with a fizzy drink like full fat coke for years my mum use to tell me off if I took a pain killer with a fizzy drink but the doctor told my dad to do this to take away any taste from tablets and it goes down better.  

    Original lucozade dad said tasted nice and didn't make him cough.

    Cheers wife ask me for lemonade to take tablets with and i thought it would agitate cough but worth a try thank you for reply. Hope you all berring up ok. Bri H
