X-Ray/CT scan to treatment

Hi, I have lung cancer, and I was told on the 18th February that the CT scan showed a mass.  I am still waiting to have it staged and I have no treatment plan in place.   I qwas just wondering how long others took from "we have a problem" - to receiving treatment.

    You should have started your treatment by now, give the hospital a ring and ask why you have been kept waiting so long. Don't be afraid to be pushy its your health that is on the line. Kim

    Hi,

    In my case, I was told I had "a growth" during an endoscopy when a biopsy was taken, referred to an oncologist and CT scan that day, saw him the next week and was staged then, I started chemo the week after. 

    Please call the hospital first thing tomorrow, tell them you were told you had cancer back in February and tell them this delay in unacceptable - or get your GP to chase it up on your behalf.
