  • Hi there, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. My dad had non small cell lung cancer, squamous cell carcinoma. My dad was not well enough for treatment and they used a scoring system to ascertain this. It was based on how active his was during the day and how long he spent on his feet. He needed to spend over half the day on his feet to be able to withstand the chemo otherwise the chemo would of taken him away. Have you or your dad asked the consultant to the reason why, or do you have a letter from the consultant with the diagnosis and what was discussed in the appointment.
