Welcome to the forum although I'm so sorry to hear that your mum has cancer and that you are very worried. We have some lovely forum members who I know will be along shortly to offer you some advice and support, however you may also want to join riprap, which is a forum for young people whose parent has cancer. You might find it helpful to talk to people who are a similar age to you who are going through a similar experience.
I know it is so overwhelming i have just been diagnosed myself and it has been a whirlwind of 4 weeks for me i have a 14 year old son who i had to tell like you he is very upset but he has talked to his friends who have been very supportive which has helped him a lot, your real friends will help you and be there to listen and will not treat you differently they will surprise you how good they can be. There are always plenty of people to talk to so do not feel alone.
It is really overwhelming and just a mix of lots of different emotions right now. I think I will try to talk to my friends about it as they are always there for me, I just hope I don't get too emotional!!
