So at the start of feb my dad got diagnosed with lung cancer, took a few weeks to get to know all the details of stage etc, we were told it wasn't curable which was just the most devastating news!! So anyway, this Thursday he starts his 1st cycle of chemo, it seems to have taken forever for us to get to this point but now that it's here I'm absolutely dreading it!! 

I know he needs this treatment to try and prolong his life but as it is dad still feels well in himself with very few symptoms of this awful illness and I guess I'm just scared of how the treatment that meant to help him could end up making him unwell!!

Still just trying to stay as positive as possible for my beloved dad xxx
