  • Hi Camilla, Firstly I'm sorry to hear you're having health issues. Secondly stop googling, I know it's really hard not to. You'll end up scaring yourself even more. So will they do a biopsy to see what it is and where it's come from? Are you in any pain with the fracture?

  • I think you definately should stop.

Right now you don't know enough to be looking anything up.

Life expectancys can vary hugely even when you know lots about a cancer - you don't even know where the primary is or the type, even if this this actually is a secondary to be sure.

I know its really hard and all you want are answers and right now there just aren't any.

They will want to know a lot more about your condition before anyone wants to start making decisions about treatment and stuff like that - you wouldn't want them to come back and say "whoops we got that a bit wrong" would you.

Hard as it is you'll just have to be a bit patient - ask them to explain what extra they find after each set of tests and try to resist asking them to speculate.

Best of luck I hope you get some good news

  • Camilla , you definately need to do what both Graham and Michelle have said .. the internet is full of horror stories since I to fell into the same trap of looking up what I was going trough. Although you can find some decent information .. you really need to wait for the Hospital to give you definitive background, if there is a more sinsiter issue they will inform you and help will befall you in abundance .. never feel alone because there are people to help you.

I hope you hear from them soon, if not it doesn't hurt to ask them if anything new has been revealled.
