HI pma .... Just wanted to welcome you to the forum and say how sorry I am to hear of your diagnosis - I can understand how shocked you must feel.  I dont know anything about this operation other than a friend of mine has had two - and is doing really really well, with no recurrence some 6yrs on.

If you go to the search forum button on the purple strip above and type in your subject - hopefully threads written by others with a similar diagnosis may come up and you can post to them if they are fairly recent.  The moderators are more active through the week and hoperfully will be able to put some links up for you.  Also the nurses here are lovely and can offer you lots of support and information.
