Hi Charlotte, welcome to the forum, but so sorry for what brings you here. I can just imagine how shocked you were when told by your doctor that you are in the early stage of cervical cancer. I understand that you must have been so shocked that you wouldn't even think to ask for some kind of explanation as to where you go from here. Before you push that panic button too far, I would suggest that you sit down and write down all of your questions and concerns, then make another apt. with your doctor and put the questions to him/her. The news you were given would send anyone into a tail spin, especially when you weren't told anything to follow. Another thing, have a family member, your partner, or a good friend go with you to your apt., not only for emotional support, but to ask questions too, or to get clarification on what the doctor says. I would do this very soon because your emotions would be running wild right now. There's nothing worse than worrying about something that you don't have the information on to make sense of it. If its' any comfort to you, your youth is in your favor and if this is early stage cancer, then getting it caught early on, is a good thing.

Be sure to come on to the forum and let us know how things go for you. In the meantime, take a deep breath and try not to let your mind run too far ahead on this. You have one really good reason for taking good care of yourself right now - that dear little child of yours.
