My dad has non small cell lung cancer  .  I know  it's  not the same as what  your dad but i can totally  understand  how  you are feeling !! My dad also  ate Everything  put in front  of him and  enjoyed  sweet  things  but now is picky won't  touch  anything  sweet  at all more sour things and natural  yoghurts with  sour fruit like  winter  strawberries,  raspberry. 

It is  painful  to watch  someone  you love  being  in pain. He started  of with chemo 2 of one but the scan  revealed  that it was damaging  his kidneys  also  there was no change to the cancer so they changed  his chemo to a different  one  he again  had 2 but again  no response so Tuesday  just  gone  we where referred to the UCLH Euston for radiotherapy  which  had his  first  one  on Thursday  and every day  for  5 days . I went  with  him today  to give  my mum a rest. A journey  that  would  take  any well  person  45 min  or less  took over an hour  because  he gets  breathless very  quickly and difficult  to  breathe.

With  the food  and feeling  sick  he should  have  been  given pills  to ease  the sickness but food  should  be little  and often  and drink  plenty  of  water  to which  my dad struggles  with as it has a strange  taste to it so he has to  drink  it warm .  

I know  it's  hard  to  be brave and strong but it's  something  that  just  comes. Don't  bottle  you feelings up find  someone  to talk  to and have  a good  cry , i do. Also try to stay  positive  it is difficult but all we have  is hope. No one  wants  to  loose a parent .                         Stay brave  and  positive
