bowel cancer that has spread

tadd lonely at the moment,  Hubby aged 58 has been diagnosed with bowel cancer that has spread to his liver. He had 6 tumours and we were told this worst news on the 28 feb this year.  He has had irotechan and camcetomide tablets but when we saw the consultant on 10 september we were told the ct scan had found a shadow  on his liver of 1.5 cm which had grown in 3 months.  I would like to talk to anyone please who can help me

  • Hi Hope,

My name is Gillie, we seem to be in the same boat. My husband had two bowel operations 2 years ago but was then dianosed with liver spread. He had a liver operation last January. We thought he had won his battle for a while but sadly the cancer has returned. It looks as if it is back in the two places. We have an appointment tomorrow (1 oct) to talk to the surgeon about what has been found after recent tests. I am terrified and heart broken.  Please keep close and let me know how things are with you both

    Kind regards Gillie
